Strain engineering for microbial production of industrial enzymes or bioactive polysaccharide polymers using Escherichia coli and Bacillus subtilis; Development of superb microbial platform for recombinant expression of peptides or bulk chemical intermediate using thermophilic microorganisms; Studies in molecular mechanisms of high density growth and colonic acid producing of an E. coli mutant.
