Epigenetic reprogramming and transgenerational inheritance
Research Interests:
Our lab is interested in understanding the dynamic regulation of epigenome in animal gametes development, early embryonic development, cell differentiation, and related human diseases. By taking advantage of cutting-edge methods in molecular biology, genomics, developmental biology, bioinformatics, and also combining “wet” lab and “dry” lab, we aim to investigate key biological questions in the following areas: (1) epigenetic regulation and the underlying mechanism during animal gametogenesis; (2) improvement of epigenome editing technologies; (3) molecular mechanism of mammalian transgenerational epigenetic inheritance.
