Introduction:
The Multi-Omics Facility in School of Life Science and Technology is a scientific research based facility, which not only provides routine biological mass spectrometry services, but also develops new methods/technologies according to the individual requirements from each research group and provides comprehensive support in proteomics, metabolomics and lipidomics for research groups in ShanghaiTech University.
The Facility is equipped with advanced mass spectrometry (Q Exactive HF-X, Q Exactive HF, Orbitrap Fusion, TripleTOF 6600, QTRAP 6500+), HPLC for offline fractionation and all necessary hardware and software for routine proteomics, metabolomics and lipidomics analyses.
Dr. Hao, the director of the facility, has over 14 years of research experiences in the area of proteomics, published 45 high-quality SCI papers (21 as the first or corresponding author), and achieved innovative research outcomes in proteomic sample preparation, multidimensional chromatographic separation, proteomic data processing and analysis of protein posttranslational modifications using mass spectrometry.
It is not only open to users from Shanghai University, but also outside users. Routine proteomics, metabolomics and lipidomics analyses are provided. If large-scale or individualized omics services are necessary, colaboration projects are also possible.
