ShanghaiTech University is a newly established research university located at Zhang-Jiang High-Tech Park in Pudong, Shanghai, the “Pharma Valley” of China. Currently, it has five schools and three advanced research institutes: School of Physical Science and Technology, School of Life Science and Technology, School of Information Science and Technology, School of Entrepreneurship and Management, School of Creativity and Art, Shanghai Institute for Advanced Immunochemical Studies, iHuman Institute, and Institute of Mathematical Sciences. ShanghaiTech is jointly supported by Chinese Academy of Sciences and Shanghai Municipal Government. School of Life Science and Technology (SLST) is currently seeking applications for multiple tenure-track and tenured positions at all ranks in the following academic disciplines: Molecular and Cell Biology, Neurobiology, Immunology, Systems Biology and Bioinformatics, Biomedical Informatics, Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine, Biomedical Imaging.

The School provides internationally competitive start-up fund including support of Research Associates and Post-Doctoral fellows. Laboratory space will be provided to match the research needs. Qualifications:

Successful applicants should have an exceptional track record of research in life science or technology within the last five years. The recruited faculty members are expected to develop a first-rate research program and contribute to the educational missions of undergraduate and graduate programs in SLST.
